Had a real blast today spending some time in the music room alone with the drums....someone who has never played the drums and has no clue about them has to really enjoy holding those sticks and banging the hell out of the drum set....well i did just that!!...and in the process even learnt some rookie stuff and found an analogy between the drums and the tabla...it's hilarious to see someone playing the drums shouting out tabla "bols" !!
Also spent some time with norman lewis' word power made easy....man tht guy is one hell of a genius...amazing writing style and impeccable use of psychology and etymology really does make even somethin as boring and cumbersome such as learning words really fascinating and enjoyable.
Tried to start studying electrical machines in the library today...but like all first visits to the library of every new "mugging" season...this one too was an absolute fiasco.
Went for dinner with friends to this nice restaurant called waldorf with good chinese food. The restaurant was pretty dimly lit, shabby and village-like...but it still had a certain feel to it which made me like it...will definately go there more often henceforth....funny tht the first time i went there was today...after nearly 4 sems of stay here in kgp.

i must agree with kaua even though i hate that with my guts, u must start fights, call kaua some names or write a blog on his awkward finger bone angles.
hah...mukul if he wanted to get controversial all he ahs to do is mention your "antics"...that would start some interesting discussions
